Ingredients for Andhra chicken biryani recipe
Oil: 1 tbsp.
Green chilies: 1 piece
Cinnamon: 1, Cloves :2, Green cardamom:1
Cashews: 12 to 15
Marination for chicken biryani
Chicken with boneless: 500gm
Lemon juice: 1 ½ tbsp.
Turmeric: ¼ tsp
Red Chili Powder: 1 tbsp.
Large Onions: 2
Ginger garlic paste: 1 & ½
Solid Ghee: 1 tbsp.
Salt as needed
Garam Masala Powder
Coriander: two tbsp.
2-inch skinny cinnamon stick
Cloves 6 to 8
Green elaichi: 4
Jaalakara: ½ tsp
Fennel Seed: ¼ tsp (optional)
Biryani Ingredients:
Rice: two cups
Water: 3.5 cups minimum
Oil: two to three tbsp
Salt as needed
Red chili powder: ½ tsp
Biryani masala: 1 ½ tsp
Salt as needed
Coriander powder:1 tsp
Yogurt: 1/4 cup
To Grind:
Sliced Onion: 1 cup
Garlic cloves: 4
Ginger garlic paste 1.5 tsp
Pudina: ½ cup
Coriander: ½ cup
To Temper:
1 big name anise
Bay leaf:1
Shahi jeera: ½ tsp
Cloves: 4
Green cardamoms:3
Method how to make chicken biryani at home
Step 1
As cited In marination ingredients; marinate the chicken
